A musical evening at Kohima’s Central Plaza turned into a powerful display of community spirit and compassion. Organised by Vision Trinity, the concert was more than just a showcase of emerging musical talent and local entrepreneurs — it was a heartfelt initiative to raise funds for critically ill patients and promote blood donation awareness.
With music echoing through the venue, the true purpose of the event struck a deeper chord. “This wasn’t just about entertainment,” said the founder of Vision Trinity. “It was about bringing people together across tribes and backgrounds for a cause that truly matters.”
Behind the uplifting performances lay a somber reality. The group had initially planned to assist five leukemia patients — tragically, all five passed away before help could arrive. “We couldn’t save them, but their loss has only deepened our commitment,” the founder shared. The team is now rallying support for two more patients: a young child battling complete kidney failure and another undergoing brain surgery.
Despite the emotional backdrop, the concert radiated hope and unity. Around 400 attendees came together, raising ₹23,000 in donations. The event’s success was made possible in part by the generosity of Central Plaza, which waived the usual venue charges. “We rarely give out the space for free,” said manager Novizo Dzune, “but when we learned it was for the sick and underprivileged, we didn’t hesitate.”
The night proved that music can do more than entertain — it can heal, inspire, and bring a community together for a greater cause.
